David said that, ‘I believe that I shall see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.’
If not believing in the Lord, he might discourage his heart already. However, for his relying on the Lord, he inspired himself and us as well.
Here is a thing to bear in mind -- wait for the Lord.
Wait for the Lord and wish for the blessing. We should dare to believe that the Lord will definitely respond to our calling and help us because He will never let us down if we wait for Him.
We can learn from the Bible that whenever man is struggling to fight against powerful rivals, he could hear God saying, ‘Be strong and take courage your heart.’
Is it too difficult to wait for the Lord so that man needs to let his heart take courage?
Absolutely right! The salvation we need and wait for is to save us from our enemies which seemed to be invincible. What we need is spiritual and invisible.
Heavenly and supernatural as it is, it is beyond the strength of mankind.
We may feel disappointed when facing with enemies, and we do not find it natural to speak to the Lord because we see our Lord as untraceable.
Sometimes we have fears in doubting our waiting, our faith, our hope and our commitment.
However, God’s word is healing and invaluable. He said, ‘Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!’ (Psalms 27:14)
Let nothing stop you from waiting for Him and convince that He will never let you down.
