Wu Wei, male, Han ethnicity, was born in Beijing in February 1963. He got a Master of Divinity degree at Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

He served as Pastor and Senior Pastor in Beijing Chongwenmen Church, Pastor in Beijing Gangwashi Church, Vice President of Beijing CC, President of Beijing CC, and General Secretary of Beijing YMCA. He currently serves as President of CCC.

Wu is also currently a committee member of the 13th National Committee of CPPCC.
