“Get up from your seats before the white-haired, and give honour to the old, and let the fear of your God be before you: I am the Lord.” (Leviticus,19:32)

Granny Zhou was 93 years old this year. When she entered the elderly home, her skin was badly festering and her physical condition was very terrible. With the care of caregivers, Granny Zhou is gradually improved but still in bed. She did not have retirement pension. So, she can only live on a little allowance.

In order to help more disabled, sick, lonely or poor old people who live in church-run elderly home or community like Granny Zhou, the Social Service Department of CCC&TSPM launched a project named Love Kitchen for “Granny Zhou”. We provide nutritious, healthy and delicious meals for these people. Through the establishment of this project, we expect more brothers and sisters to join in this “kitchen” and become the “love chef” who adds happiness to the elderly's life.
