At present, China's aging population is increasing; the demand for elderly services is growing rapidly. Through establishing various kinds of elderly service agencies, churches in China take part in serving the elderly. The quality of church elderly service is directly related to the vital interests of the elderly, and directly related to the survival and development of the church run elderly service agencies.

In order to continuously improve the management level and service quality of church run elderly service agencies, the Social Service Department of CCC&TSPM regularly conducts a national workshop on the elderly services every year. The leaderships of the church elderly service agencies will be invited to the workshop; through the training courses they could update their knowledge of elderly service management and improve their leadership capacity.
