Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalms: 119-105)
‘And I will send down the showers in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.’ (Ezekiel: 34-26)
‘And I will send down the showers in their season.’ The grace is the power of God. Isn’t it the grace coming from almighty God? For who else can speak of such words like God? There is but one voice that can send the rains down from cloud.
Who can send down the showers to the ground? Who can water vegetables and fruits with the showers? Isn’t he God? Grace is given by God, not man. This is the much needed grace.
What would it be like if there was no shower on the earth? Are ploughing and planting possible without showers? Therefore, God’s blessing is a must.
If God did not send sufficient rain down to the ground, nor bestow salvation, man’s labor is in vain. Therefore, this is abundant grace. God gives us showers, not raindrops. So is His grace.
God’s blessing is enormous that there is no more need. What a fullness of the blessing! The fullness of the blessing we need makes us humble and purifies our prayers.
We need enormous grace which compels us to have passion and safeguard us to enter Heaven when the day comes.
Without the grace of showers, we can do nothing. It is also the grace ‘in its season’. God ‘sends down the showers’. What state are you in for this morning? Is it drought now? Then it is the time to receive the showers.
Is it the time with an overcast sky and dark? Then it is the time to receive the showers. ‘As your days, so shall your strength be.’ (Deuteronomy: 33-25) Blessings are multiple. ‘And I will send down the showers in their season.’ Rains are plenty, and God will definitely descend multiple blessings.
God descends all the blessings all at once, like a golden chain. If you are blessed with repentance in your heart, you will be comforted by grace as well, for He will ‘send down the showers in their season’.
Head up, drought plants. Open your leaves and blossoms to receive the grace of the showers from Heaven.
May Holy God bless you with strength and have a joyful and safe day.
