On the morning of June 16, 2024, Sichuan CC&TSPM’s Commission on Ordination Ministry conducted the first series of ordination ceremonies of 2024 at Shangxiang Church in Chengdu and the Gospel Church in Dongpo District of Meishan City.

Five preachers were ordained as pastors, including Zheng xing, Guo Qi (female), Zhuang Chengju, Yang Songhong, and Liang Yan (female). The lay preacher Tong Tianze was ordained as an elder.
