On January 31, 2026, Zhejiang CC&TSPM held an ordination at Chengguan Church in Huangyan District, Taizhou City. Fellow workers, their family members, and representative of believers from the churches across Taizhou gathered to witness this sacred occasion.

The ordination ceremony was officiated by Rev. Zhang Yaofa, President of Zhejiang CC. It opened amid the solemn sacred music, with Huangyan Church’s choir presenting the hymn “Learning to be a Good Servant”. Rev. Lin Zhengsheng led the opening prayer, and Rev. Chen Zhihua read selected passages from the Book of Ephesians.

Rev. Lou Shibo, Vice President of Zhejiang CC and Vice President of Zhejiang Theological Seminary, delivered a sermon titled “The Ministry of Prayer”. Rev. Lou encouraged all to remain steadfast in their faith, love the country and the church, glorify God and benefit people, and fulfill their mission of the times with a servant’s heart.

During the ordination, Elder Hua Xiaochi, Chairperson of Taizhou TSPM, presented the ordinands. After professing their ordination vows, the ordinands received the laying on of hands. The ordination council presented stoles, certificates, and Bibles to those newly-ordained.

A total of 17 fellow workers were ordained, including seven pastors: Wang Shijie, Jiang Yi, Zhang Ting, Hong Qinqin, Li Ling’en, Chen Yile, and Chen Zanmei, and ten elders: Wan Bangchun, Lin Lifu, Cai Xianyun, Chen Binquan, Pan Xiadong, Huang Yunxiang, Lin Xuemei, Li Hongzhong, Zheng Jianyong, and Yu Hongyi.

The ceremony concluded with a prayer led by Rev. Liu Min and a benediction by new ordained  pastor Rev. Wang Shijie.
