On the afternoon of June 3, 2026, Shaanxi Bible School held a commencement ceremony and a praise meeting under the theme “Singing to Praise the Lord, Embarking with Grace”. The event was attended by all faculty members and students.

The event began with the singing of “Revive Thy Work, O Lord”. Rev. Jia Haiguang, Vice President of Shaanxi Bible School, led a prayer.

President of the school Rev. Wang Hong delivered a speech. In her speech, Rev. Wang Hong extended congratulations to the participants of the fifth training course for pastoral backbone leaders in Shaanxi Province, as well as to the graduates of the eighth theology college class at Shaanxi Bible School.

She encouraged them to stay true to their original calling, remain grateful, uphold biblical teachings, love the country and the church, glorify God and benefit the people, work diligently, and serve the society.

The praise meeting featured several performances. The training course members and the fourth-year theology students sang “A Grain of Wheat” and “Amazing Grace”. Other shows included a guitar ensemble playing “Sun Above the Clouds”, a small female chorus, a piano performance, and a small faculty chorus “Savior, Lead Me, Lest I Stray” and “Grace of God”.

The shows and performances integrated fine traditional Chinese culture with Christian faith, representing an exploration and practice in the Chinanization of Christian art. Through this splendid praise meeting, the Bible school expressed its gratitude and worship to God.

At the end of the event, Rev. Dang Gaiqin offered a benediction to all course members and graduates, expecting them to walk their future journey with love, hope, and grace, and to fulfill their calling by bringing new vitality to the healthy development of the church in Shaanxi.
