The 6th Tuyou (Baotou City, Inner Mongolia) CC&TSPM layworker training class successfully finished on 7th December, 2018. The closing ceremony was held in the morning. For the participants, the 40-day training class helped to broaden their mind, enhance their knowledge, and enrich their spiritual life.
In the closing ceremony, Elder Gao Ke addressed the students and expressed his hope that they could 1) keep improving their skills and be a good role model and shepherd in the church; 2) aspire for the truth, be diligent, practice what they learnt to lead the church; 3) keep studying the spirit of the 19th National Congress as well as relevant law and rules, especially the Regulations on Religious Affairs so as to be aware of current affairs and politics and take root in Chinese culture. He expected the lay workers to become the witness who honor God and benefit people, and help other believers to be good citizens of the nation and good members of the church.
At last, on behalf of the teachers, Rev. Hong Shenghu exhorted the students with the verses from the Bible and told them to know the Lord even deeper, become special utensils and come closer to God in His word.
The closing ceremony ended with the singing of praise and thanksgiving. Students who benefited a lot from the training were entrusted with the missions. They went back to the threshing floor and were expected to become the blessing of the church, the household of God and the society.
