On March 8, 2019, staff members of Shandong CC&TSPM along with students and faculty members from Shandong Theological Seminary gathered for the “International Women’s Day Symposium” . There were over 40 participants.

Rev. Gao Ming hosted the symposium, and shared his personal experience to emphasize the significant role that mothers play in morals and faith building of their children. Rev. Li Hongyu called upon sisters to learn from Ruth, devote themselves to their family and serve the Lord with faithfulness.

On the afternoon of March 8, 2019, Nanjing Union Theological Seminary organized a Women’s Day spring outing. Vice President Rev. Chen Bin conveyed his gratitude and blessing to all women in the seminary. He appreciated their contribution to the seminary and wished them rejoice, beauty and health. Rev. Sun Meici gave the benediction.

Shaanxi Hancheng Church held an International Women’s Day service on the afternoon of March 8. Over 400 people attended the service, including pastors from Hancheng CC&TSPM, choirs and bands, as well as brothers and sisters from other churches.

On the afternoon of March 8, 2019, Leling Fellowship of Mujiang Garden Church in Suzhou hosted a special celebration activity, with a theme of “Women can hold up half of the sky, and an excellent wife is far more precious than jewels.”

Beihai Church in Huangnihe County, Dunhua City, Jilin Province held a special service and commemoration activities on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2019. Over 300 believers participated in these activities.

Rev. Dou Yue gave a sermon entitled “The women who announce the news are a great host”, encouraging sisters to follow female role models in the Bible and our society, and become the testimony of the Lord by living out the virtues of Christ.

On March 8, 2019, Inner Mongolia Bible School organized all students and faculty to hold evening celebrations themed “Blessed are the glamorous women”.
