On June 8, 2025, Guizhou CC&TSPM conducted an ordination ceremony at the chapel of Guizhou Bible School, attended by nearly an assembly of 500, including students and faculty members of the Bible school, church members from Baiyun District of Guiyang City, as well as several church workers.

The ordination worship service was officiated by Rev. Yan Linbin, vice president and general secretary of Guizhou CC. As the prelude of the service, the Bible schools choir performed hymns such as Good Shepherd” and Stand Up, the Blessed. Vice President Rev. Yang Minghang led the prayer. Rev. Sun Sicong, vice chairperson of Guizhou TSPM, read the Scriptures from 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Rev. Yang Mingxiang, president of Guizhou CC, delivered a sermon titled Entrusted by the Lord to Become a Good Shepherd. The message shared by Rev. Yang revolved around three aspects: knowing your sheep, shepherding Gods flock, and sacrificing for the sheep. Rev. Yang encouraged the ordinands to follow the footsteps of Jesus to become good shepherds, capable of providing good pastoral care with the sheep in their hearts, bread in their mouths, and a staff in their hands.

The ordination ceremony was presided over by Rev. Luo Yingfu, chairperson of Guizhou TSPM. Rev. Yan Linbin introduced the ordinands to the audience. After the questioning of vows, members of the ordination council performed the laying on of hands, presenting stoles, Bibles, flowers, and certificates for the newly-ordained.

Eight fellow workers were ordained as pastors, including Zhang Lian and Li Guilong from Guiyang City; Wang Rong, Yang Chuanjun, and Li Zhiquan from Bijie City; Li Canjun and Yang Zechao from Qiannan Prefecture; and Zhang Qingsong from Anshun City. Dou Zhilong from Guiyang City and Yang Guangen from Anshun City were ordained as elders.

Rev. Wang Rong, one of the new pastors, gave a speech of gratitude. The audience sang the hymn Love to Spread the Gospel. The ceremony concluded with a benediction given by the newly-ordained Rev. Li Canjun.
