On the morning of January 27, 2024, Tianjin CC&TSPM held a dedication ceremony at Cangmenkou Church. Rev. Mao Yajun, Chairperson and President of Tianjin CC&TSPM, together with representatives of its affiliated churches and church-affiliated fellowships attended the ceremony.

Rev. Li Jingyu, Vice President of Tianjin CC, moderated the ceremony. Rev. Mao Yajun, who also served as the lead pastor of Cangmenkou Church, addressed and hosted the sanctuary-opening ceremony. A thanksgiving service was presided over by Rev. Liu Ping, and Rev. Mao Yajun gave a sermon.

At the dedication ceremony, Rev. Mao Yajun briefed on the historical heritage of the church and its renovation project. Rev. Mao mentioned that the reconstruction of this 90-year old church kicked off in 2023, with great support of the municipal and district governments. The far-reaching restoration has made this nearly century-old church vibrant with life again.
