On the morning of July 25, 2024, Shizuishan CC&TSPM held a thanksgiving service for the honourable retirement at the Dawukou Church in Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The service started with the prelude “Tread Softly”, and it was officiated by Rev. Wu Hua, Director and President of Shizuishan CC&TSPM. Rev. Wang Baorui, Deputy Director and President of Shizuishan CC&TSPM led the intercessory prayer and Rev. Li Renzhong, Director and President of Ningxia CC&TSPM delivered a sermon. An assembly of people, including 17 pastors and elders from Shizuishan City, more than 30 church committee members from different churches and over 200 members of Dawukou Church, attended the service.

Rev. Li Renzhong remembered and gave thanks for the contributions of the senior pastors, who once had served the churches in Ningxia and now returned to the Lord. Rev. Li encouraged the five retiring pastors to step down from their positions but continue serving God, wishing them to further glorify God in their retirement. Also words of encouragements were given to the young pastors, urging them to be courageous, responsible and prudent servants.

Following the sermon, Rev. Li Renzhong presented certificates of retirement to the five retired pastors. Representing Shizuishan CC&TSPM, Rev. Wang Baorui gave bibles to the five senior pastors as commemorative gifts. They also received flowers from representatives of pastors from other churches.
