On June 30, 2026, Northeast Theological Seminary held the graduation thanksgiving worship service and commencement ceremony at the seminary’s chapel. The attendees included all faculty members, graduates of the junior college program, undergraduate program, and transfer class, as well as leaders from provincial and municipal CC&TSPMs, and pastors from various places.

The graduation thanksgiving service began at 8:30 a.m. Elder Shi Aijun, President of the seminary, preached a sermon titled “Take Root in the Truth, Be Unashamed Workers in the New Era”. Vice President Rev. Zhang Yuezhu offered a prayer of blessing for all graduates.

The commencement ceremony began with words of exhortation offered by Elder Shi Aijun. Elder Shi encouraged the graduates to bear in mind their responsibilities to the times and become pastors who love the country and abide by the law, uphold the word of truth, and serve the flock of God.

Rev. Hou Yujie, President of Liaoning CC, also delivered a speech, urging the graduates to embrace the Chinanization of Christianity, actively participate in social life, and promote positive values. Elder Shi Aijun awarded the graduates their diplomas. 

Representatives of the graduates and current students gave remarks, sharing their learning and growth at the seminary. The graduates presented a commemorative gift to the seminary, and the seminary, in return, gave each of them a book.

All graduates performed the hymn “The Proclaimer of the Cross”. The ceremony then concluded with the congregation reciting the Lord’s Prayer together.
