On the morning of September 16, 2026, Jilin CC&TSPM held an ordination service at Xiwu Road Church in Changchun, Jilin Province. Rev. Shan Weixiang, Residential Vice Chairperson of National TSPM, officiated at the service, with Rev. Hu Yuming, Chairperson of Jilin TSPM, and leaders of municipal CC&TSPMs across Jilin assisting.

Among those in attendance were leaders of local Christian organizations throughout the province, along with pastors, church co-workers, and believers from local churches.

Of the 59 candidates for ordination, 39 qualified after completing the required training, assessments, and interviews. They then received pre-ordination training prior to the ordination service. Thirty-six were ordained as pastors, while three were ordained as elders.

The ordination service was presided over by Rev. Hu Yuming. Rev. Yan Yong, Vice President of Jilin CC, led a prayer. Rev. Wang Daiyu, Chairperson and President of Yanbian CC&TSPM, read from Scripture.

Rev. Shan Weixiang delivered a sermon titled “Be a Compassionate Pastor”, encouraging the ordinands to become God’s faithful servants and proclaim the message that speaks to the needs of the times.

After Rev. Shan administered the ordination vows, the ordinands received the laying on of hands by the ordination team. The team also presented stoles and Bibles to them. The service concluded with a benediction by Rev. Shan.
