Wang shared the study tour from three parts: the library immersion in university towns, attending theological seminars and visiting scholars, experiencing church diversity as well as cultural and religious plurality. She also introduced two of the historical university towns separately in Oxford and Cambridge where she had access to multifold academic materials beneficial to her writings. Also, Wang said that, through attending theological seminars and visiting renowned scholars, it not only broadened her horizon, but also was of great help to her doctoral dissertation writing.

Later, Luo Chengzan vividly presented his stories in UK in three small chapters: study, church exchanges and UK in his eyes. He firstly shared the memorable and rewarding experience of studying in the library of Cambridge University where he seized every moment searching books and journal for academic study. He also shared the diversity of churches and the society in UK. He mentioned that places like Natural Historical Museum and Ashmolean Museum left him a deep impression and these all made it possible for him to have a deeper understanding of the church, culture and living habits in UK.

This UK study tour was attributed to the support from Friend of the Church in China (FCC), Methodist Church and other church organizations. It is a good chance to introduce our British counterparts the status quo of the church in China and the indigenization and contextualization of Christianity in China. Hence, this study tour is regarded as fruitful both in obtaining essential academic materials and enlarging academic perspective.

Rev. Wen Ge then concluded the sharing session. On behalf of the leaders of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, he affirmed what these two doctorate students had done during this study and also encouraged each of the students to value the time to study.

The workshop successfully finished in the applause of all faculties and students.
