On the early morning of March 26, 2019, Wuxi Church organized a prayer meeting themed “When disaster strikes, prayers arise from everywhere” to pray for Xiangshui, Jiangsu, where an explosion occurred.

Rev. Zhang Peifu, senior pastor of the church, led the prayer. He cited 2 Timothy 3:1-9 and gave a sermon entitled “The dangerous day”. 

The congregation prayed urgently for those who have lost their family members in the accident and those who are both physically and mentally hurt and need recovery. They also prayed for the post-disaster reconstructionin Xiangshui.
