On April 5, 2025, Heilongjiang CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony in the Heilongjiang Theological Seminary. After undergoing the systematic training and rigorous assessment, ninety-seven pastor candidates from 13 cities across the province were ordained as pastors during the event.

Rev. Li Meilan, vice president of Heilongjiang CC, officiated the ceremony. As a prelude, the Voice of Heaven choir performed the hymn “Learning to Be A Good Shepherd”. Rev. Liu Xiaolu, vice president of Heilongjiang CC, delivered a sermon titled “Walking with the Amiable God”, encouraging the candidates to follow in the footprints of Christ and to spread Christ’s love, truth and peace among the people. Later, Rev. Shao Shan, general secretary of Heilongjiang CC, introduced the graduation years and seminaries of the ordinands.

After the solemn questioning of vow, an ordination group, consisting of Rev. Lv Dezhi, Rev. Geng Weizhong, Rev. Xue Shihai, Rev. Li Yajie, Rev. Li Meilan, and Rev. Liu Xiaolu, performed the laying on of hands and conferred stoles upon all the 97 ordinands. Fellow worker Zhang Jianxin, vice chairperson and secretary general of Heilongjiang TSPM, and Associate Secretary General Rev. Sun Yufeng presented Bibles and Hymnals to the new pastors. Afterwards, on behalf of Heilongjiang CC&TSPM, Zhang exhorted the new ministers to love the country and the church, comply with laws and regulations, and shepherd the flock as a life-long learner.

The ceremony concluded with the congregational singing of I Surrender All and the benediction by the new pastor Rev. Li Zhigang.
