On March 27, 2019, Rev. Shan Weixiang, vice president and general secretary of China Christian Council, received visitors from Bible Society Australia in Shanghai. Both sides had an in-depth dialogue concerning the Bible ministry.

Rev. Shan Weixiang extended warm welcome to the delegation from Bible Society Australia, and introduced the development of the church in China. He said that the Bible and pastoral care ministries had been making steady progress since the reform and opening-up in the late 1970s.

Ms. Chen Hongli, a staff member of the Media Department of CCC&TSPM introduced the duties of the department, Bible publication and some current challenges.

Ms. Melissa Anne Lipsett, chief operating officer of Bible Society Australia, said that she was glad to see the church in China making significant progress under God’s guidance, and that the innovative media ministry was also impressive. She noted that Bible Society Australia would continue to donate paper for Bible publication in China.
