From 9 to 11 July, 2019, Shaanxi CC&TSPM held 2019 Term Two training for clergy certificate renewal in Xi’an. Over 150 clergies from Yulin, Yan’an, Baoji, Hanzhong, Shangluo and Ankang totally six cities in Shaanxi Province attended the training.

The contents of the training involved studying “Laws and Regulations on Religious Policies”, the newly-revised “Regulations on Religious Affairs”, the indigenization and contextualization of Christianity in China, the newly-revised “Regulations on the Church in China” and “Regulations on the Church in Shaanxi Province”, coupled with knowing how to run the church ministries under the background of the “Internet Plus”.

Rev. Wang Jun, president and chairman of Shaanxi CC&TSPM gave the exhortation at the closing ceremony. He urged the clergies to conscientiously fulfill the duties; carry out ministries by laws and regulations; broad their horizon, think and explore diligently to actively promote the indigenization and contextualization of Christianity in China.

He also shared the construction information of the new campus of the Bible school, and led the clergies, and brothers and sisters to pray for it and encouraged them to engage in varous ways.     

The training serves the purposes of enhancing the overall quality of the clergies in Shaanxi Province, and increasingly and orderly normalizing the work being carried out in the church in the province.
