Zhao Congzhuo serves as a counselor at Northeast Theological Seminary and he is also an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage of paper-cutting. He composed paper-cutting artworks that showcase the fearless actions and achievements of the Chinese people and army in the fight against COVID-19.
Zhao drew inspirations from the real stories of medical workers who cure the sick and save lives, those who offer support to one another and also practice self-quarantine, as well as models for work resumption during the outbreak. His paper-cut works help uplift the spirit of many Christians to defeat the virus.
