On the afternoon of April 8, 2021, all students and faculty members of Zhongnan Theological Seminary received the COVID-19 vaccine in a local hospital of Wuhan, Hubei Province.
At first, all students and faculty members should scan an OR code to make an appointment. Then, they went in different time slots and in different groups. Arriving at the inoculation site, they were asked to show their health codes and go through temperature checks and were then sent to different areas for vaccination.
After taking their shot, recipients stayed for another 30 minutes for observation. The whole process was in an orderly and safe manner and no one reported any side effect.
One year before on the same day at 0 o’ clock, the lockdown in Wuhan was lifted. After 76 days of complete lockdown, the city of Wuhan was finally reopened, and several staff members of Zhongnan Theological Seminary also began to resume their work.
