On July 19, 2024, Sichuan TSPM conducted a new church inauguration ceremony for Lizhou Church in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Over 60 ministers and fellow workers attended, including Rev. Chen Yilu, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, Rev. Rao Jianhua, Chairperson of Sichuan TSPM, Rev. Zhang Xiansheng, President of Sichuan CC, Rev. Zhang Jian, Vice President of CC and Vice Chairperson and General Secretary of Sichuan TSPM, and pastoral staff from around 60 churches in Sichuan.

The completion of the Lizhou Church took five years. The new church can now accommodate 1,000 people, with 11 mus of site space and 6,500 square meters of construction space.

Rev. Zhang Xiansheng officiated the ritual in the consecration ceremony. Afterwards, both the choir and the congregation sang hymns in praise of God.

Rev. Sun Lianggang, Chairperson of Guangyuan TSPM, moderated the thanksgiving service. Rev. Wang Guanghui, Vice President and Vice Chairperson of Sichuan CC&TSPM, and Chairperson of Nanchong TSPM read the Scripture. A group of pastors sang “Consecration For The Church Building” and “To God Be The Glory”. Citing Psalms 84, Rev. Chen Yilu gave a sermon entitled “Yearn for the Courts of the Lord”. Finally, Rev. Zhang Xiansheng gave a benediction to round off the thanksgiving service.
