On September 28, 2024, Guangdong CC&TSPM conducted an ordination ceremony at Nanping Church, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Fellow worker Niu Qiulian was ordained as a pastor. An assembly of more than 500 people, including pastoral staff from Zhuhai City and believers from Nanping Church, jointly witnessed this holy moment.

Rev. Wu Jimei, Secretary General and General Secretary of Zhuhai CC&TSPM, officiated the ceremony. Rev. Wang Chaoying led the prayer. Citing Acts 20:28, Rev. Guo Yun, President of Guangdong CC, preached a sermon titled “Watch Over Yourselves and All the Flock”. Words of exhortation were given by Rev. Guo to all ministers in the province as well as the minister-to-be, who were encouraged to uphold the truth, stay on the right path, take heed to themselves and to all the flock, and serve wholeheartedly and faithfully.

Afterwards, Rev. Fan Hong’en, Chairperson of Guangdong TSPM and Chairperson and President of Zhuhai CC&TSPM, hosted the ordination, conferring a stole and a commemorative Bible upon the newly-ordained. Rev. Tong Jianfang then gave an exhortation to the new pastor, encouraging her to live a Christ-like life and fulfil the duty as a God’s servant, who’s eager to serve and faithful to the Lord.

In her final speech that conveyed sincerity and earnestness, Rev. Niu Qiulian said that she would devote her life to serving God, conscientiously and faithfully. The new minister also committed herself to becoming light and salt, and to honoring God and benefiting the people, in order to do her part for the church prosperity and the welfare of church members.
