On November 23, 2024, Zhejiang CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony at the Eastern New Church in Ningbo City. Pastoral staff, fellow workers and their family members, as well as representatives of church members jointly witnessed this sacred event.

The ordinands first attended a training session hosted by Rev. Zhang Yaobo, Vice President of Ningbo CC. Rev. Gao Jianwei, Chairperson of Ningbo TSPM, shared insights.

Afterwards, Rev. Chen Zhihua, Vice Chairperson and Secretary General of Ningbo TSPM, made an assessment based upon the qualification test results of the ordinands, aiming to help the ordinands reflect on themselves and enhance their overall abilities.

In the afternoon, the ordination ceremony was officiated by Rev. Zhang Yaofa, President of Zhejiang CC. The union choir sang Learn to Be A Good Shepherd. Fellow workers Tang Jianan, Meng Qinyuan and Lin Jiao read the Scriptures.

Rev. Shan Weixiang, Residential Vice Chairperson of National TSPM, delivered a sermon titled “From Strength to Strength”, encouraging the new ministers to cultivate discernment, determination, resilience and emotional steadiness. By doing so, they as faithful and insightful servants will honor the name of God, promote the healthy growth of the church, and enrich the spiritual lives of its members.

Those ordained as pastors included 22 fellow workers: Ying Jianan, Yu Chengbin, Ren Enqin (female), Chen Pulong, Chen Daqing, Tang Diying (female), Zhang Junping (female), Wu Shizhong, Zhao Yun, Wang Lu (female), He Bangkui, Jiang He, Hu Hongqing (female), Huang Li, Sun Qun (female), Fu Yuejun, Lin Yuanqing, Jiang Bengqiu, Lei Kaifu, Zhou Enjuan (female), Wu Xinhua, and Gu Songyang.

The 11 new elders included Wo Bifen (female), Dong Heping (female), Weng Xingcai, Chen Boshan, Zhou Enguang, Han Jingye, Tian Yaojun, Xiao Kangxi, Chan Zhufa, Hao Hongwei (female), and Cheng Ruiying (female).
