Christian Representatives Attend Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women

From October 13 to 14, 2025, the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women convened in Beijing. The theme of the summit was “One Shared Future: New and Accelerated Process for Women’s All-Rounds Development”. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. The event was also attended by Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong, Vice President and General Secretary of CCC, and Rev. Jiang Qianli, President of the National Council of Young Women’s Christian Association of China and Executive Committee member of All-China Women’s Federation.

“It is expected that the Church in China will engage in international interactions, such as exchanges and training programs, to help global Christian women better understand the religious freedom in China, the healthy development and inheritance of the Church in China, as well as social progress in China,” said Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong.

Rev. Jiang Qianli said: “As a professional social service organization, we should start by taking practical steps in our local community through advocating gender equality, opposing discrimination and violence, addressing the developmental needs of women and children, and actively participating in public charitable activities and related projects.”
