On the morning of September 5, 2024, the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

More than 3,200 people, comprised of the heads of state, government, delegation of both China and African countries and and chairperson of the African Union Commission and their ministers of foreign affairs and of economic cooperation, attended the forum. Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Chairperson of National TSPM, was also invited to partake in the opening ceremony.
