On November 18, 2025, the Canaan Church in Huangshi City, Hubei Province, held its dedication ceremony. The event was attended by fellow workers and believers from the sibling churches within and outside the province.

Rev. Zhu Zhiguo, Chairperson of Hubei TSPM and President of Zhongnan Theological Seminary, led the pastoral team to conduct the entrance dedication, cross dedication, Scripture dedication, altar dedication, and church dedication. Rev. Jin Da from Ningbo shared a message titled The Glorious Church. Rev. Huang Yingxin, Vice Chairperson and Vice President of Guangdong CC&TSPM, made a speech as a representative of the guests, while Rev. Lu Wei, Chairperson and President of Shiyan CC&TSPM, delivered congratulatory remarks, on behalf of the sibling churches.

Rev. Xu Chengxiang, Vice President of Hubei CC, Chairperson and President of Huangshi CC&TSPM, delivered a welcome speech and reported on the sources and uses of funds, reviewing the arduous journey and grateful testimonies from the planning stage to the completion of the church.

As the congregation prayed, a representative pastor activated the inauguration ball, declaring the official opening of the Canaan Church. Following the dedication ceremony, attendees watched a documentary on the church’s construction and a promotional video on the Chinanization of Christianity in Huangshi. Church choirs performed dances and hymns of thanksgiving.

The newly-built Canaan Church features a modern, simple, ecological, and artistic design. It makes full use of the space and is fully functional for worship, prayer, Scripture reading, office work, a book corner, and fitness. The completion of the new church demonstrates a concrete step by Hubei churches to systematically advance the Chinanization of Christianity in a profound and solid way, representing a beautiful encounter between tradition and innovation, faith and culture, as a glorious testimony to the integration of church architecture and pastoral care.
