In commemoration of the Bible Day of the Church in China and in response to the call of CCC&TSPM, churches and church-affiliated fellowships from Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, organized a series of diverse and meaningful sharing and exchange activities under the theme “The Bible and Me”.

Ergong Church held activities themed “Bringing the Bible to Life Through Images”. Rev. Zhang Shuzhen encouraged believers who have maintained daily Bible reading since the beginning of the year to root their lives in the Word of the Lord. Rev. Zhang also introduced a New Year spiritual growth plan, which included year-round Bible reading, daily Scripture copying, Scripture recitation, and personal reflections on “The Bible and Me”.

At Zhujiang Road Church and Wuyi Road Church, Rev. Cui Hebin drew on the churches’ year-long Bible reading practices and personal pastoral experience, reminding church members of reading Scriptures and putting the truth into practice for personal spiritual growth and a healthy development of the church.

Anningqu Church held a “The Bible and Me” thanksgiving sharing. Rev. Zhang Ling shared how God called her to a life of dedication through a single Scripture, as well as her more than twenty years of service in the church. A senior sister who leads the elderly fellowship testified that the Wednesday Bible study group successfully helped several illiterate sisters be able to read through the entire Bible.

Ulapo Church’s Bible Day celebrations featured preaching, sharing, and interactive activities. Through activities such as Scripture recitation games and personal testimonies related to the Scriptures, it encouraged church members to love the Bible, live out God’s Word, and pass on the faith.
