On the morning of September 9, 2026, an eight-member delegation representing churches and Christian organizations in Dallas, the United States, visited CCC&TSPM. Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Chairperson of National TSPM, and Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong, Residential Vice President and General Secretary of CCC, received the delegation. Rev. Dr. Lin moderated the meeting.
Rev. Xu welcomed the delegation and reviewed the long-standing exchanges between CCC&TSPM and churches and institutions in Dallas. He emphasized that continued dialogues and exchanges between the two sides are essential for deepening mutual understanding, dispelling misunderstandings, and strengthening friendship.
Rev. Xu also highlighted recent progress made by the Church in China in areas such as the Chinanization of Christianity, the law-based administration of church affairs, ministerial training, the promotion of thrift and opposition to extravagance, pastoral ministry, organizational management, and Bible ministry.
Mr. John Chen, the consultant to the Bible Study Fellowship’s Board of Directors, thanked CCC&TSPM for its warm reception. Dr. Mark Steven Young, the former president of Denver Theological Seminary, commended the progress of the Church in China in various ministries and prayed for the Church in China.
Rev. Lin then prayed for the churches and people in the US. Other delegates shared their impressions and expressed wishes for more exchanges and cooperation in the future.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Ms. Gu Jingqin, the interim chief of CCC&TSPM’s Overseas Relations Department, and a staff member from the Theological Education Department also participated in the reception.
