During January 17th to 18th ,2018, the volunteers’ course of the project for children with cognitive disabilities has been successfully held in Xuchang of Henan Province. This course is an important part of the project which is supported by CCC & TSPM and EEAM. It was jointly organized by Beiguan Church and Bo’ai Children’s rehabilitation Center.

In 2017, the “Friends of Senior Peer” health pension project of National TSPM won the Ministry of Civil Affairs’ approve with a grant of RMB 500,000 yuan.

Invited by the Committee and the People's Government of Sandu County in Guizhou Province, Elder Fu Xianwei, the chairman of TSPM, went to Sandu County to attend the 60th ceremony of Sandu County and visited the poverty alleviation projects supported by religious groups.

On November 3rd, 2017, a delegation made of 5 staff from Mennonite Central Committee(MCC) and headed by Mr. Blaine Derstine, Director of Asia Department, visited the office of CCC&TSPM.

From October 15 to 25, 2017, a delegation which composed of Christian, Catholic and Buddhist，conducted a ten-day tour on senior care services in Pennsylvania. The project is organized and coordinated by Social Services Department of CCC&TSPM. The local host was Mennonite Healthcare Service Alliance (MHS) under MCC, which is the second time to cooperate for such tour study.

October 20th, 2017, the completion ceremony of deep well project was held in a village of Baoding, Heman Province. It is a rural community development project in Hebei Province and supported by the CCC&TSPM.

CCC&TSPM held the launching ceremony of basic illness prevention, first-aid training, and gratuitous treatment for children at Tujia Primary School (TPS), located at Xuanhan Country, Sichuan Province on the morning of September 21st, 2017.

From September 11th to 12th, 2017, Elder. Fu Xianwei along with Rev. Yu Wenliang from Yunnan Christian Council &TSPMvisited the Bible Training Center and attended the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Drug Rehab. Center in Baoshan, Yunnan Province.

CCC&TSPM held the Church Environmental Seminar with Shanxi Christian Council &TSPM from September 5th to 7th, 2017. The theme of this seminar was “Improve awareness of environmental issues and disseminate green ideas”.

From August 14th to 21st, 2017, Rev. Kan Baoping, CCC Vice-President and General Secretary, and Mrs. Jin Wei，CCC Vice-President and Director of Social Service Ministry Committee, lead Social Service Committee Senior Care Research Group to Hei Longjiang, Henan and Fujian province to conduct a field research with the theme of “Building the Feasibility and the Brand of Senior Care Services”. The group received strong support and welcomes from local Christian Council and TSPM.
