Founded in 1956, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region TSPM is a patriotic organization for Christians in the Region. From 15^th to 20^th June, 1956, Christians in Guangxi held the first Guangxi TSPM Conference in Nanning and approved unanimously the foundation of Guangxi TSPM. Rev. Qin Fengzhen currently serves as the chairwomen of Guangxi TSPM.

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Christian Council was founded in 1985 as a regional Christian affairs organization. On 13^th June, 1985, the fifth Guangxi Christian Conference was held in Nanning, at which Guangxi CC was officially founded. Rev. Wang Conglian currently serves as the president of Guangxi CC.

Guangxi CC and TSPM works together, aiming to help and guide churches in this autonomous region to strengthen self-construction, preach the gospel and run the church well. The highest authority of Guangxi CC&TSPM is Guangxi Christian Conference, which was held every five years. At the conference, the Guangxi CC&TSPM Work Report is deliberated and the new chairman, vice chairperson, secretary general of Guangxi TSPM as well as the president, vice president and general secretary of Guangxi CC are elected.

The original site of Guangxi CC&TSPM was in the Shunian Building on No. 90 Qixing Road, Nanning City. It was moved to No. 8-4, Yongwu Road, Xingning District, Nanning in 2013.
