Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM is short for Shaanxi Christian Counciland Shaanxi Committee of Three-self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Church.


Founded in 1958, Shaanxi TSPM is a provincial organization which guides Christians in Shaanxi Province to love their country and the Church in China. It serves the purposes of uniting all Christians in Shaanxi to advocate the leadership of CPC and the People’s government, and love their socialist motherland; obeying the constitution, laws, regulations and policies, establishing good social morals and guiding believers to love their country and the Church in China, honor God and benefit the people; persisting in self-dependence and self-cultivation, strengthening solidarity, so as to serve to run Shaanxi church well, guide all believers to play an active role in building a harmonious society and make Christianity in Shaanxi compatible with our socialist society. Rev. Wang Jun currently serves as Shaanxi TSPM Chairman.


Shaanxi CC was founded in 1983 as a provincial Christian affairs organization. It aims at uniting all Christians in Shaanxi who believe in God and accept Jesus Christ as the Savior to concertedly obey teachings of the Bible, the Three-self Principles, the constitution, laws, regulations and policies to run the Church in Shaanxi well with the guidance of the Holy Spirit; guiding all Christians in Shaanxi to play an active role in building a harmonious society and make Christianity in Shaanxi compatible with our socialist society. Rev. Wang Jun currently serves as Shaanxi CC President.


Shaanxi TSPM and Shaanxi CC work together in the following aspects: first, church affairs: offer guidance and assistance for churches in Shaanxi Province to run church activities properly; second, theological education: cultivate pastoral talents for the Church in Shaanxi Province and cofound Shaanxi Bible School and training center for pastors and church workers; third, overseas exchanges: communicate with overseas Christian communities in accordance with the Three-self Principles; forth, publication: publish books to provide guidance for believers, including the quarterly periodical Shaanxi Christian Church; fifth, social services: fulfill the social responsibility of Christians by holding activities in the areas of poverty alleviation, school and education subsidies, disaster prevention and relief, medical care, and so forth.
