At 7:00 in the evening of 31th October, 2018, the Praise Fellowship from Shandong Theological Seminary was invited to jointly hold a chorus concert with Linqiao Church in Tianqiao District, Jinan. Up to 13 people attended the concert including student Liu Xin from the Praise Fellowship in Shandong Theological Seminary, the vocal team, the musical instrument team and the post-editing team.

Yang Li, Director of Shandong Jinan Tianqiao District TSPM presided over the concert and Li Jiali, church staff of Linqiao Church offered the opening prayer. Director Yang briefly shared stories of the Praise fellowship since it was founded, and fully affirmed the activities it had carried out in churches in Shandong. Yang hoped that the fellowship could serve with voice in Shandong to gain more glories for the sake of the Lord.

The prelude ‘Open to the Sky’ was performed in the concert. In addition to the contemporary music performed by Praise Fellowship like ‘Your Everlasting Love’, ‘I Sing and Play the Music to Praise You’, ‘There is the Glory’, ‘Blessed be with You’ and ‘Hosanna’, Linqiao Church also played a few hymns with orchestral instruments to praise and worship God. The hymns like ‘My Chinese heart’, ‘You should Praise Jehovah’ and ‘Praise the Lord’ were brimming with Chinese characteristics. The hymns performed were so contagious that each guest, brother and sister present could experience the grace from God and embrace the atmosphere of delight and harmony.

At the very end of the concert, student Liu Xin, who was the leader and representative of the fellowship, exchanged gifts with Rev. Wang Rui and church staff Chen Xiuyun from Linqiao Church. Chen said that Linqiao Church welcomed students from the Praise Fellowship of Shandong Theological Seminary to pay frequent visits, and gifted them with a piece of calligraphy, saying ‘they shall stand every morning, thanking and praising the LORD, and likewise at evening’ (1 Chronicles 23:30), epitomizing the blessing to the Praise Fellowship of becoming better and honoring the name of the Lord.
