On June 27, 2026, Fujian Theological Seminary held a thanksgiving service and commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026 at Fushen Church.

Faculty members and students of the seminary, graduates’ families, pastors, and church co-workers gathered to witness the graduation of 65 students as they prepared to enter the harvest field.

Rev. Du Qiying, General Secretary of Fujian CC and Vice President of the seminary, officiated at the thanksgiving service.

Drawing on Matthew 24:45-51, Rev. Zhang Jiyou, Chairperson of Fujian TSPM and President of the seminary, delivered a sermon titled “What Kind of Servant Will I Be?” Rev. Zhang encouraged the graduates to be faithful and wise servants, remember the training and expectations they had received at the seminary, respond to God’s call, and faithfully serve local congregations.

During the commencement ceremony, Dr. Zhang Xinyu, Academic Dean of the seminary, read the names of the graduates. Rev. Zhang Jiyou presented diplomas and certificates to the graduates and exchanged gifts with them on behalf of the seminary. The graduates sang the seminary’s graduation farewell song, expressing their gratitude to their alma mater and their hopes for the future.

The ceremony concluded with the benediction offered by Rev. Zhang Jiyou.
