On the evening of September 10, 2022, Shamian Church affiliated to Guangdong CC&TSPM, conducted a special worship service. The event was to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the themes of harmony, reunion, thanksgiving, and praising.

The worship service began with the solemn hymn The Lord is in His Holy Temple. The congregation sang The Chinese New Hymnal #384: Psalm 150, a hymn characterized by the Chinese tunes, through which they gave thanksgiving and praises to God for His great and marvelous work of creation.

Rev. Xie Xuguang from the church hosted the service. Rev. Cai Jianwei from Guangdong Union Theological Seminary was invited to preach a sermon, entitled “Family harmony and People Reunion”. After that, the Holy Light Choir performed a hymn called Harmonious Family.

Then the choir led the Kyrie. The congregation also read the beatitudes together.

The Mid-Autumn service ended with the benediction by Rev. Lei Yuming, who served as the executive vice president of Guangdong CC.
