From April 14 to 16, 2026, Hunan CC&TSPM held a 2026 ordination training program and an ordination ceremony at Tenghui Church in Changsha.

The training program featuring themed lectures and doctrinal discussions, served to strengthen the candidates’ faith, enhance their awareness of the rule of law, and develop a committement to serving the Lord and the church faithfully.

On the morning of April 16, the ordination ceremony opened with a solemn prelude. After the choir entered the sanctuary in procession, the congregation stood in worship and praise. A passage from Acts 20:25-38 was read and students from Hunan Bible School sang “Hallelujah”.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Du Wenwu, President of Hunan CC, and assisted by Rev. Peng Jiarong, Vice President of Hunan CC, Rev. Deng Peng, Vice President and General Secretary of Hunan CC, and Rev. Chen Zhi, Senior Pastor of Tenghui Church.

Twelve candidates were ordained as pastors and fourteen as elders. Clergy, fellow workers, and believers from various places gathered to witness this sacred occasion.

Rev. Du Wenwu delivered a sermon titled “Serving Faithfully” to encourage the newly ordained to retain what they had learnt during the training, serve Christ faithfully, take up the mission of the church, and fulfill their pastoral responsibilities.
