Hunan CC&TSPM is short for the Committee of Three-Self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Church and the Christian Council in Hunan Province. Hunan TSPM was founded in 1951 by a group of patriotic Christians in the province, and Hunan CC in 1980 as a provincial organization of Christian affairs.

Purposes

Hunan CC&TSPM insists on the Three-Self Principles of self-governance, self-support and self-propagation to run the church independently. It upholds the path of the Chinanization of Christianity and guides churches in the province to love country and church, honor God and benefit the people. It endeavors to build solidarity between Christians and non-Christians, serve the churches in Hunan, and encourage local Christians to play an active role in driving economic and social development.
