Exchanges Among CCC&TSPM and Hong Kong Christian Institutes in Ministries of Bible, Church and Publishing

On the morning of May 20, 2021, CCC&TSPM and Hong Kong Bible Society held a virtual meeting. The two sides had an exchange over the Bible ministries carried out in the period of regular epidemic prevention and control by the church in the mainland of China and Hong Kong. Participants included Rev. Shan Weixiang, vice president and general secretary of CCC, Rt. Rev. Dr. Soo Yee Po, chairman of HKBS, General Secretary Mr. Lee Tseun Yuen, Associate General Secretary Mr. Cheng Tung Fai, Ms. Hwang Hiu Heung, director of the Office and Ministry of the General Secretary, etc.

On the afternoon of May 20, Rev. Shen Xuebin, vice president of CCC joined a virtual conference with Ms. Cheung Hoi Sze, executive officer of the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong. The two sides respectively introduced their ministries during the pandemic, and both hoped to have a closer contact with each other and foster the exchanges after the pandemic ends.

Also in the afternoon, there was another virtual conference jointly held by CCC&TSPM and the Chinese Christian Literature Council, attended by Rev. Shan Weixiang, along with Rev. Yung Chuen Hung, chair of the CCLC and its board of directors, etc. The two sides had an exchange regarding the publishing ministries during the epidemic, and expressed the expectation towards future cooperation.

Rev. Shan Weixiang recalled the long-lasting partnership between each other, and mentioned several devotional books published via collaborative working. Books that focus on mental wellness helped provide comforts to believers during the pandemic. Rev. Yung Chuen Hung said that this November would be the 70th anniversary of CCLC. If the epidemic could end soon, a celebration would be held and staff members of CCC&TSPM would be invited to come to witness the blessed moment together.
