On the afternoon of September 20, 2024, a 19-member delegation from the United Evangelical Mission (UEM) visited CCC&TSPM. Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong, Vice President and General Secretary of CCC, and other colleagues warmly received the guests. The meeting was moderated by Ms. Gu Jingqin, Interim Chief of Overseas Relations Department of CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong welcomed the UEM delegation and introduced the guests to the basic status of the Church in China and the ongoing Chinanization of Christianity.

Colleagues from CCC&TSPM, including Ms. Chen Hongli, Rev. Xiao Yunxiao, and Ms. Cai Chaoheng, gave brief introductions to the work of the Media Ministry Department, Church Ministry Department, and Social Services Department respectively.

Rev. Félicité Ngnintedem Epse Dongmo Ouanda, Executive Secretary for Global Programs of the UEM, extended gratitude for the warm reception and expressed support for the work of CCC&TSPM. She then said that UEM as an international Christian organization, has owned 39 member institutions mainly from Germany, Africa, and Asian countries. The UEM has maintained a friendly relationship with the Amity Foundation over the years, engaging in exchanges on projects such as volunteer service. This visit to China aims to seek more opportunities for interaction and cooperation with Chinese churches.

During the meeting, the guests asked questions about the specifics of the Chinanization of Christianity, the publication and distribution of the Bible, and the dispatch of international students. Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong and other staff patiently responded to each inquiry.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Grace Telling Bookshop.
