From May 17 to 19, 2025, Henan Theological Seminary hosted the “Fun with You” summer athlete meeting at the campus field. Students and faculty members from all four grades participated in the event. Friendship was fostered through engaging athletic games, as participants demonstrated the spirit of mutual assistance and love.

The athlete meeting emphasized the spirit of friendship over competitive rankings. In the “heart to heart” basketball games, second-year players showcased perseverance, continuing to push forward even after stumbling. Participants of tug-of-war shouted, which harmonized with the cheers on the field. Besides, games including rope skipping, badminton, and five-in-a-row also displayed the philosophy of “scores matter, but friendship is even precious”. It was worth mentioning that there was a special section dedicated to “honoring those who serve”, which paid tribute to the judges, support staff, and volunteers.

At 7 PM on May 19, the seminary held an award ceremony. Following hymn singing, prayers, and an address by the president of the seminary, winners were presented with prizes and honorary certificates. In the speech, President Rev. Tang Weimin underscored that the event used “fun” as the medium to leave a loving impression on the students this summer. Regardless of the outcomes, everyone walked hand in hand in Christ.
