On the morning of August 13, 2025, Shaanxi CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony at the Dongxin Alley Church in Xi’an City.

The ceremony began with a prelude. Rev. Yang Haitao, general secretary of Shaanxi CC&TSPM, officiated the ceremony. Rev. Li Shizheng, vice chairperson, vice president, and secretary general of Shaanxi CC&TSPM, led the prayer. The church choir performed the hymns “Learn to Become a Good Shepherd” and “Be Thou My Vision”. Rev. Li Jianjun, vice chairperson and vice president of Xi’an CC&TSPM, read the Scriptures. Rev. Li Lingli, general secretary of Xi’an CC, delivered a sermon titled “Remember the Entrustment of the Lord”, offering words of exhortation to the ordinands.

Rev. Wang Jun, chairperson and president of Shaanxi CC&TSPM, made an announcement, questioned about vows, and led a prayer. Rev. Yang Xiaohong, vice chairperson and vice president of Xi’an CC&TSPM, gave an introduction. Rev. Yang Haitao read the approval. The ordination council performed the laying on of hands for the 32 ordinands.

Cheng Xiaoyan (female), Liu Fengping, Li Yabo (female), Sun Chenlu (female), Chen Xiaoru (female), Liu Xuan, Li Haiyan (female), Yin Yingying (female), Zhou Yuan (female), Zhang Zhanbin, Zong Chao, Zhou Yingxin (female), and Tian Yuexia (female) were ordained as pastors. Wei Lihua (female), Peng Juxiang (female), Zhou Aiping (female), Xu Jing (female), Tian Hongrong (female), Liu Mingjuan (female), Luo Qunying (female), Sun Yakun (female), Zhao Xiao’e (female), Ma Hongjun, Jiang Yuxin (female), Qiao Ping, Qian Hui’e (female), Fu Ya’e (female), Zhang Lijuan (female), Yu Ziqi (female), Wu Min (female), Zhi Pengli (female), and Zhao Ni (female) were ordained as elders.

Rev. Wang Jun bestowed stoles upon the new pastors and elders. Rev. Yang Haitao conferred certificates upon them. Rev. Li Shizheng and Rev. Li Jianjun, representing Shaanxi CC&TSPM and Xi’an CC&TSPM respectively, presented commemorative gifts to the newly ordained.

On behalf of Xi’an CC&TSPM, Rev. Yuan Yimin, vice chairperson and vice president of Shaanxi CC&TSPM and chairperson and president of Xi’an CC&TSPM, welcomed and accepted the new pastors and elders. Rev. Sun Chenlu made a speech as the representative of the newly ordained. The ceremony concluded with a benediction by Elder Zhang Lijuan.
