On January 6, 2026, Zhejiang CC&TSPM held its annual ordination ceremony at Chongyi Church in Hangzhou. More than one thousand people, including members of Hangzhou CC&TSPM committee, leaders from district and county level CC&TSPMs, and believers, gathered to witness this sacred occasion.

The ceremony opened with the singing of “Rejoice, Ye Pure in Heart”. Rev. Zhang Yaofa, President of Zhejiang CC and Hangzhou CC, officiated the ordination service.

Six fellow workers were ordained as pastors, including Yu Zhixiang, Xu Xiaoke, Xia Zhiping, Shen Yingfeng, Zhang Jingwei, and Ye Xiaoyi; Hong Ruquan, Hu Yaqing, Qian Yuming, You Yongxing, Feng Yunyi, and Tao Lixin were ordained as elders.

During the ceremony, Rev. Liao Dajun, Executive Vice President of Hangzhou CC, led the prayer. Chongyi Church choir presented the hymn “Learning to Become a Good Shepherd”. Rev. Xun Yage, Vice President and General Secretary of Hangzhou CC, delivered a sermon under the same title, highlighting the qualities of a good shepherd, including integrity, approachability, leading by example, initiative, righteousness, and courage. Rev. Sun also encouraged the minsters to serve the Lord faithfully and learn to become good shepherds.

The ordination council performed the laying on of hands for the twelve fellow workers, presented stoles to the new pastors, and conferred certificates. Hangzhou CC&TSPM also presented Bibles to the newly ordained. Family members and friends offered flowers and congratulations as the audience sang the hymn “All to Jesus I Surrender”. The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer by Rev. Hu Quanyuan and a benediction by the newly ordained pastor Rev. Yu Zhixiang.
