From 19^th – 22^nd November, 2018, a delegation of 14 led by Rev. Wei Tixiang from Taiwan Christian Cross-trait Exchange Association visited the church in Guangdong.

The delegation visited numerous places and churches in Guangdong Province, i.e. Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM, Guangdong United Theological Seminary, the Xiehe Church and Shamian Church. Having Rev. Fan Hong’en and Rev. Lin Enling in accompany, the President and Associate General Secretary of Guangdong CC, the delegation went to Tianhe Church in Guangzhou, Taiping Church, Longdu Church and Yuanfeng Church in Zhongshan. On the last day of the visit, they also paid a visit to Shenzhen Municipal CC&TSPM and went to Shenzhen church, Nanshan Church and Meinian Church.

Wherever the delegation went, they received warm reception from the church members and clergies in local CC&TSPMs and churches. Delegates from different denominations and organizations in Taiwan kept expressing their amazement at the leap of economic growth in the mainland, they also felt grateful to see the new situation in the church in Guangdong. They viewed the visit as fruitful, amazing and productive because it allowed them to renew their recognition and eradicate former misunderstanding toward the church in the mainland. They now began to anticipate more opportunities for various groups to visit the church in Guangdong, so that both Guangdong and Taiwan can foster understanding, relationship and connection with each other, making joint efforts in promoting the development of the church in both areas.
