On 13^th December, 2018, Zhejiang CC&TSPM held a series of conferences on social service in Hangzhou.

In the morning, the current Social Service Commission held its first conference in the conference room of Zhejiang Theological Seminary. Elder Zhang Dapeng summarized the work of the previous commission and proposed the 2019 work plan. The main tasks of the 2019 work plan included: to elect new council leadership of the Zhejiang Light & Salt Agape Foundation and make 2019 work arrangements; to elect new council leadership of the Zhejiang Holy Love Rehabilitation Center for Autistic Children and make 2019 work arrangements (focusing on its relocation); to prepare for and arrange the CCC&TSPM exchange project of nursing home presidents; to hold the sixth Zhejiang Christian Senior Care Joint Conference; to actively participate in the Zhejiang Rural Revival Plan for Ethnic Minorities charity project (She Ethnicity in Wuyi); to jointly hold forum activities with Zhejiang Happiness Senior Helper Foundation; to continue to engage in emergency rescue, public assistance, charitable aids and disaster relief fund; to keep opening up the Zhejiang Holy Love Social Service Cultural Activity Center’ to the public, etc. Elder Zhang encouraged all commissions to give suggestions for specific details of the 2019 work plan. Targeting fund shortage in terms of social service every year, commissioners put forward many valuable ideas and suggestions on fundraising.

In the afternoon, the third council of Zhejiang Light & Salt Agape Foundation held its first conference in the conference room of Zhejiang Theological Seminary. The conference aimed to prompt the robust and long-term development as well as a virtuous cycle of the philanthropy cause of the Foundation. The conference elected new leadership of the foundation and deployed the 2019 work plan. Council members also offered work suggestions in the upcoming year. They suggested that Zhejiang Light & Salt Agape Foundation to recruit professional staff and make more efforts in attracting the attention of the public.

Afterwards, the fourth council for Zhejiang Holy Love Rehabilitation Center for Autistic Children held its first conference. Members and supervisors discussed and exchanged ideas on several important issues like income rise, site ownership and the running of the Rehabilitation Center. At present, the top priority of the center’s development is to recruit administrative personnel and professional teachers.
