On January 5, 2026, Fujian Theological Seminary held its 2025 Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony. Rev. Du Qiying, Academic Dean of the seminary, presided over the ceremony. The awards were jointly presented by Rev. Yue Qinghua, Chairperson of Fujian TSPM and President of the seminary; Chen Zengping, Vice Chairperson and Secretary General of Fujian TSPM, and Vice President of the seminary; and Rev. Lin Delai, Vice President and General Secretary of Fujian CC, and Vice President of the seminary. 

The awards were based on students’ academical, physical, and practical achievements, as well as their qualities in spirituality, morality, sociability, and aesthetics. Eighteen academically outstanding students with exemplary character, along with eight outstanding student leaders and Student Union members, received their awards.

Rev. Yue Qinghua congratulated the recipients and offered words of exhortation. Rev. Yue encouraged them to remain humble and mindful of their identity as servants, guard against arrogance and rashness, forget what lies behind, and press forward toward what lies ahead. Rev. Yue urged them to serve with reverence, pursue diligent study, and grow into discerning scholars and spiritual shepherds. Finally, he called on the students to respond faithfully to their calling, continue learning throughout their spiritual journey, and bear witness as the light and salt of the world.
