History: The predecessor of Guizhou Bible School was Liupanshui Christian Theology Class, which was a two-year training course run by Liupanshui CC&TSPM in May 1993. In August 1996, it was renamed as “Guizhou Christian Theology Class” hosted by Guizhou CC&TSPM. The theology class began to offer a three-year program in September 2002. In September 2005, a new school building was completed at No. 253 North Baiyun Road, Baiyun District. The whole campus site covers more than 8,000 square meters, with a construction area of more than 5,000 square meters. In 2013, it became a three-year secondary Christian college.
Leadership: Yang Chaoyun serves as the current president; Zhou Shizhong serves as the executive vice president; Yang Mingzhang and Yan Linbin serve as vice presidents.
Curriculum: The school opens three-year secondary school course in theology, one-year clergy training course and various short-term training courses. The school offers 43 courses, categorized into three main parts, namely professional courses, common courses and special courses. The special courses involve introduction to Guizhou Province, ethnic cultures, etc.
Faculty team: Of all the 17 teachers, thirteen are full-time and four are part-time, including one PhD candidate, six with master’s degrees, nine with bachelor’s degrees, and one with junior college degree.
Book collections: The school’s library owns more than 20,000 books of over 9000 kinds. It also has over 10,000 e-books.
Students and graduates: Currently the school has nearly 100 on-campus students, consisting of Han, Miao, Yi, Buyi, Bai, Dong and other ethnic groups. More than 600 students have graduated from the school from 1996 to 2021.
