History: Anhui Theological Seminary is a Christian theological institution founded by Anhui CC&TSPM in March 1986. From 1986 to 1990, the seminary held two sessions of two-year junior college program in theology. In 1991, a one-year training course was opened and in 1997, it provided a three-year junior college program in theology. In 1999, a new campus was completed, with a floor area of about 6,000 square meters.


Leadership: Rev. Xue Lianxi, President of Anhui CC, serves as the chairperson of the Board of Directors, and Rev. Chen Tianyuan, Chairperson of Anhui TSPM, serves as the current president of Anhui Theological Seminary.



Curriculum: The courses include the Reconstruction of Theological Thinking, Commentaries on the Old and New Testament, Christian Theology, Church History, Pastoral Ministry, Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Christian Ethics, Worship Studies, Church Management, Pastoral Counseling, and Sacred Music, etc.


Teaching Staff: The seminary has 11 full-time teachers, including three Th.D. (one doctorate candidate) and five M.Div., who teach the knowledge of Christianity and music. It has 11 administrative and logistical staff (five also serve as part-time teachers), including one doctorate candidate and one M.Div. There are eight distinguished clergy who are part-time teachers who teach church pastoral care, and nine distinguished professors and lecturers who teach politics and cultures, and music, etc.



Book Collection : The library owns more than 30,000 books.


Students and Graduates: Currently, there are about 170 students enrolled. Nearly 90 of them are college program students and the rest are from the lay-preacher training class. More than 2,400 students have completed their studies in theology programs and training classes.
