At 10 a.m. on April 4, 2020, CCC&TSPM flew the national flag at half-mast and changed its website to black and white to mourn all the lives lost in the fight against COVID-19. Churches and Zhongnan Theological Seminary in Wuhan, as well as churches and seminaries across the country, also flew the flags at half-mast to lament the lost lives caused by the pandemic.
