On November 18, 2025, the event “Love is Eternal” commemorating the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Amity Foundation was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Nearly 300 people, including representatives from the Foundation’s partner organizations both home and abroad, as well as regional offices attended the event.

Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Chairperson of National TSPM, delivered a speech on behalf of CCC&TSPM. Rev. Xu mentioned that forty years ago, Bishop K. H. Ting initiated the establishment of the Amity Foundation together with individuals from various sectors of society. Over the past four decades, the Church in China and the Amity Foundation have worked together with one heart, from Bible printing to social services, and further to collaborating on public welfare projects such as disaster relief, pandemic responses, poverty-alleviation, and etc. Such actions by the Christian community have contributed positively to driving the social progress. In the future, the Church in China will continue to support the Amity Foundation, ensuring a close integration between faith practice and social needs.

Accordingly, since its establishment in 1985, the Amity Foundation has consistently adhered to its founding mission of “serving the society, benefiting the people, and promoting world peace”. It has maintained a long-term focus on fields such as education assistance, poverty-alleviation, health care, support for the elderly and people with disabilities, community development, and disaster management. The Foundation has raised a total of 6 billion yuan, with projects reaching more than 30 countries and regions. Its work has directly benefited tens of millions of people, and indirectly over 200 million people, positively contributing to social development and international exchanges.
